Game time passes differently than actual time. ==Hours== A game hour is equal to 600 seconds (i.e. 10 minutes). So when food or water consumption states
X per hour
,
X
is being subtracted every 600 seconds, not every 3,600 seconds. ==Seconds== The speed at which seconds pass appears to vary by computer. For example, 18 seconds in real life may be 22 seconds in the game. ===How to measure game seconds=== #Connect a battery to any equipment that uses 1 MW (most idle equipment does) #Charge up the battery, then disconnect the power source from the battery #The battery's power will decrease by 1 every game second
