'''Ice comets''' are moving comets made of ice that can be mined with [[Mining Laser]]s to gather [[Ice]]. They change course and mass during mining. [[Ships]] do not collide with comets.

[[Star System]]s that contain an ice comet will be labelled on the [[Sector Map|sector map]]. 

Ice can be processed into [[Waste Water|waste water]] using an [[Ice Grinder]], and then purified with a [[Water Purifier]] into [[water]].
