'''Stargate Project, Phase 9''' is the ninth phase of the gameplay event [[Stargate Project]]. It begins automatically after completing [[Stargate Project, Phase 8]].

== Overview ==
Phase 9 starts without any incoming communication. The player is tasked with delivering:
* 100 [[Charged Crystal]]
* 100 [[Warp Alignment Computer]]s

A new research option becomes available during this phase, provided that [[Neubidium Fabrication]] and [[Zeleon Energy Containment]] have already been completed:
* '''[[Quantum Processing]]''' – Requires 2 RP and 3 CP. Unlocks:
** [[Quantum Processor Blueprint]]
** [[Quantum Wafer Blueprint]]
** [[Empty Compute Grid Blueprint]]
** [[Quantum Compute Grid Blueprint]]
** [[Warp Alignment Computer Blueprint]]

This research requires a [[Crew Member#Scientist|Scientist]] aboard a ship equipped with a [[Science Station]] and a [[Supercomputer]]. Upon completion, the player is informed that 100 [[Warp Alignment Computer]]s are now required for the next stage of the Stargate Project.

== Required Technologies and Production ==
Players must produce the necessary resources for the phase. Quantum Processing enables the creation of advanced components required for further Stargate operations.

== Progression ==
Once all required items have been delivered to the Stargate, the Stargate interface allows the player to initiate the '''Test Andromeda Jump'''. Activating the test draws the required power for a simulated jump sequence.

After the test completes, the player is contacted by the '''Andromeda Project Representative''', who requests that the player call him again once preparations are complete and the crew is ready to proceed with the jump to the new galaxy.

When the representative is contacted, [[Stargate Project, Phase 10]] begins.

== Notes ==
* Quantum Processing research is dependent on previously completed Stargate Project technologies.
* A Scientist, Science Station, and Supercomputer are required to perform the research.
