Ship must be built between now and the deadline and work properly in the current version (Alpha 12). 
Ship must cost less than 5 million space bucks. 
Ship must have at least 1 Engine. 
Ship crew capacity must be equal to or greater than the number of crew. 
All guns must be placed on the external hull of the ship. No guns should be surrounded by the hull. 
Must use your own ship design.
