Loaders are used to transfer fluids and gases from a container to a pipe, so that they can be supplied to the systems that require them. Loaders can be set to unload, in which case they work in reverse, bottling fluids or gases provided by the pipe. Whether loading or unloading, the empty containers will appear/disappear automatically.
Loaders load, or unload, 20 units per second.
Loaders are an item listed in orange bought from traders or salvaged by Logistics Drones.

Oxygen Loaders work with oxygen container only. Unlike the Fuel Loader, it is only automatically provided on Praxis and JMC Mining Station.
Establishing Input Type[edit | edit source]
While fuel and oxygen loaders have pre-defined input types, generic loaders inherit their input type from the pipe connected to them. This presents a problem when the pipe itself has no type, such as when a player would like to load water into an empty tank purely as a more efficient way of storing it. The workaround for this is to temporarily connect the pipe to an equipment input/output labelled water. Once the loader begins filling the tank, the type will be established and the equipment can be disconnected.
History[edit | edit source]
