Stargate Project, Phase 6 is the sixth phase of the gameplay event Stargate Project and marks the beginning of deep-space exploration. Phase 6 begins after the Stargate has been successfully powered and activated in Stargate Project, Phase 5. The player must now travel through the gate into a new Sector, collect exotic materials, and conduct research to complete the phase.

Entering the New Sector[edit | edit source]

The player initiates Phase 6 by jumping through the Stargate. The jump is initiated via the FTL tab if no target is selected and the ship is located at the Stargate Star System.

It is strongly recommended to use a ship equipped for mining, material collection, and gas harvesting, as both Neubidium Ore and Zeleon Gas must be gathered in the destination sector. A Refinery is required to process the gas.

After the Jump[edit | edit source]

Upon arrival in the new sector, the player is hailed by Commander Harken. She explains that the area lies beyond known space and outside her jurisdiction. Harken initiates a full system scan and warns of possible pirate activity and unstable conditions.

The sector contains three Star Systems:

  • A quiet, uneventful system where the player arrives.
  • A dense Zeleon gas cloud system with an active Meteor Shower.
  • An Asteroid Belt system containing Neubidium ore, as well as regular Ore and Metal.

To collect Zeleon gas, the player must use a Gas Collector set to Zeleon mode. For progression, both mining and gas refining are required.

Research and Phase Objective[edit | edit source]

After collecting Neubidium ore, the following research becomes available:

These research tasks must be completed by a Scientist aboard a ship equipped with a Supercomputer and a Science Station.

Note: While Zeleon Energy Containment and Neubidium Fabrication are unlocked, they are not required to complete Phase 6. They are needed for Stargate Project, Phase 7.

To complete the phase, the player must deliver:

Submitting these resources completes Phase 6.

Transition to Phase 7[edit | edit source]

Immediately after completing Phase 6, the requirements for phase seven of the Stargate project become visible. Shortly thereafter, Commander Harken contacts the player to officially begin the next phase.

Travel and Progression[edit | edit source]

Players can freely travel between the home sector and the Stargate sector without affecting its state. Jumping does not reset resource availability or cause progression.

Notes[edit | edit source]

  • The Stargate must remain powered with at least 100 MW of continuous energy throughout this phase.
  • The sector beyond the Stargate appears fixed as of Alpha 16.
