A Hydroponic Garden grows food from compost and seeds.

A garden has six grow spots. Each spot:

  • Initially requires 10 compost and 4 water to prepare
  • After a seed is planted, will use 1 water every 19 seconds (roughly)
  • Requires 1 MW while plant is growing
  • Produces 15 food and 1-2 seeds after about 425 seconds, using 22.5 water total
    • Research can improve crop yield by 50%, raising this to 22.5 food (thus requiring 1 water per food)
  • Requires 5 compost and 3 water to re-prepare
  • Per hour this comes to about 7 compost, 21 food and 32 water (with food rising to 32 after research)

Total garden power usage is 1 MW (baseload) + 1 MW per plant.
