Gatling guns are a weapon useful for destroying meteors and defending against hostile fighters. Bullets will do no damage to armored sections of ships. They can be loaded with two stacks of bullets at a time, and fire in a small but wide arc at a high rate.
Gatling guns do not require a crew member to operate them, they will automatically fire at meteors and hostile ships. Gatling guns will only fire while in Battle Stations mode, this includes firing at meteors.
They must be placed in the Hull. The object itself is of size 3 x 2, needs an unobstructed area in front of it of 3 x 6, and internal space of 3 x 1; giving an overall space of 3 x 9
