Transfers can occur between docked ships. Additionally, [[Logistics Drone|drones]] can transfer cargo (including themselves) if both ships have a [[Drone Bay|drone bay]] and the source ship has a drone. There is a limit to how far apart ships can be for this.

Fleet logistics tab showing a transfer from Ship 1 to Ship 2
Request to move a docking port from Ship 1 to Ship 2.

The Logistics dialog displays how much of each cargo type, crew type, and passenger is carried on each ship in the fleet. The dialog is also a control to transfer these between ships.

Scheduling Transfers

  1. Select the ship you want to transfer from, which will highlight the column green.
  2. Find the row for the item you want to transfer. Left-click where it intersects the column of the destination ship to schedule one item for transfer. Right-click to un-schedule a transfer.

Shift-clicking will schedule 5 at a time. Control-shift-clicking will schedule the current amount of source items to be transferred.

You can schedule more transfers than you have items, and the crew/drones will continue transferring items as they become available.

Achieving Transfers

  • Crew will transfer cargo between docked ships, and crew or passengers being transferred will walk across.
  • Drones will transfer cargo if both ships have a drone bay and the source ship has a drone to perform the transfer. If a drone itself is transferred, it will fly to the destination ship. Crew and passengers cannot be transferred by drone.
