Request to move a docking port from Ship 1 to Ship 2.

The Logistics dialog displays how much of each cargo type, crew type, and passenger is carried on each ship in the fleet. The dialog also provides controls to transfer these between ships.

Transfers can occur between docked ships. Additionally, drones can transfer cargo (including themselves) if both ships have a drone bay and the source ship has a drone. There is a limit to how far apart ships can be for this.

Scheduling Transfers

1. Select the ship you want to transfer from, which will highlight the column green.
2. Find the row for the item you want to transfer. Left-click where it intersects the column of the destination ship to schedule one item for transfer. Right-click to un-schedule a transfer.

Shift-clicking will schedule 5 at a time. Control-shift-clicking will schedule the current amount of source items to be transferred.

You can schedule more transfers than you have items, and the crew/drones will continue transferring items as they become available. [[Category:Game mechanics]
