Goal
Create the most effective combat ship and see how it holds up against the competition!
All submitted ships will compete in a bracket competition if we receive enough entries. If we don't get enough entries, the ships will battle in-game ships instead. Ships must come stocked with ammo, crew, and life supporting resources. See details below.
Prize
The winner receives the Competition Winner and Most Effective Combat Ship roles, which will put you in a highlighted category in the user list.
Submissions
All ships must be submitted to the Ship Showcase on Discord (tagged as competition entry) by December 15, 2024 at 10:00 PM
Rules
As the person running the battles, Johnny_Struggles will not submit any ships to participate in the tournament.
Build Requirements:
Ship must be built between now and the deadline and work properly in the current version (Alpha 12).
Ship must cost less than 5 million space bucks.
Ship must have at least 1 Engine.
Ship crew capacity must be equal to or greater than the number of crew.
All guns must be placed on the external hull of the ship. No guns should be surrounded by the hull.
Must use your own ship design.
Combat rules:
Ships will start combat facing each other outside of Railgun Range.
First ship to be destroyed loses.
If all crew die then that ship loses.
The games AI will control all the combat.
The Hull Repair order will be on during combat. All other orders will be off.
Combat will be single elimination.
