Phase 6 begins after the Stargate has been successfully powered and activated in Stargate Project, Phase 5. The player must now travel through the gate into a new sector, collect exotic materials, and conduct research to complete the phase.

It is strongly recommended to use a ship equipped for mining, material collection, and gas harvesting, as both Neubidium Ore and Zeleon Gas must be gathered in the destination sector. A Refinery is required to process the gas; fabrication capabilities are not yet needed.
