Stargate Project, Phase 6 is the sixth phase of the gameplay event Stargate Project and marks the beginning of deep-space exploration via a fully activated Stargate. The player must first build the infrastructure to power the gate and travel into uncharted space. Once there, they must collect and research exotic materials in order to complete the phase.

Entering the New Sector

To travel through the Stargate, the player must first construct and install the necessary energy infrastructure:

  • Build five Energy Transmitters at the Assembly Table.
  • Install them on a ship capable of supplying at least 1,000 MW power.
  • Deliver a 1,000 MW energy burst to activate the Stargate.
  • Maintain 100 MW of continuous power to keep the gate online.
  • Jump through the Stargate with the equipped ship.

The jump is initiated via the FTL tab when the ship is at the Stargate location and no target is selected.

It is strongly recommended to use a ship equipped for mining, material collection, and gas harvesting, as both Neubidium Ore and Zeleon Gas must be collected in the destination sector. Fabrication capabilities are not required, but a Refinery is essential for gas processing.

After the Jump

Upon arrival in the new Sector, the player is hailed by Commander Harken. She explains that this area lies beyond known space and outside her jurisdiction. Harken performs a full system scan and warns of possible pirate activity and unstable conditions.

The sector contains three Star Systems:

To collect Zeleon Gas, the player must equip their ship with a Gas Collector and set it to Zeleon mode. For progression, gas collection and refining are essential.

Research and Phase Objective

After collecting Neubidium Ore and Zeleon Gas, the player gains access to the following research:

All required research must be conducted using a Scientist aboard a ship with a Super Computer and a Science Station.

Once the necessary technologies are researched and materials refined, the player can complete Phase 6 by delivering:

Submitting these resources finalizes Phase 6 and permanently activates the Stargate.

Travel and Progression

Players can jump freely between their home sector and the Stargate sector without altering its state. Jumping does not reset resource availability or cause progression.

After completing Phase 6, the game does not immediately reveal further objectives. Additional content may be introduced in future updates or triggered by other conditions.

Notes

  • The Stargate will deactivate if the energy supply drops below 100 MW.
  • Energy Transmitters must be installed and online — cargo storage does not count.
  • Only ships with adequate energy and control systems can maintain gate operation.
  • The destination sector appears fixed as of Alpha 15.
