An FTL jump is how a ship travels between systems and sectors.
To perform an FTL jump, a ship requires:
- A powered FTL Drive that has an FTL Charge loaded.
- The ability to align the ship for the jump, which requires working engines or thrusters.
The Fleet page describes how multiple player-owned ships jump together.
There is not a limit to jump distance, but a jump cannot pass directly through another star system.
