Cannons have a range of 500m. They fire at a rate of 1 shell every ~2.25 seconds. Cannon shells travel towards their target at a speed of ~200m/s. They will randomly impact on an enemy hull block or equipment in their path towards their target.
When a shell impacts on a block or equipment, an 11x11 square area is drawn (impacted block + 5 blocks on each side) and hull blocks and equipment within this area are randomly damaged.
